When United Broadcasting wanted a BIG VideoWall on stage for comedian Michael Moore's new TV show "The Awful Truth", they called Rent Com. After extensive technical considerations, they decided to use an Electrosonic Pic3 processor driving a 5 x 5 (25 unit) matrix of Electrosonic Procube displays. As the predominant feature on stage, the VideoWall played a crucial role in displaying live image magnifications as well as Betacam roll-ins, to the delight of the live audience.

Rent Com technicians were able to pre-color balance the wall to 3200K, and on-site setup was a snap! By customizing the brightness of the VideoWall, Michael Moore could stand directly in front of it, maintaining excellent eye contact with a live audience of close to 1,000 people, all of whom could see him and his hilarious video vignettes perfectly!

Thirteen shows were recorded over a two week period, and all the equipment performed flawlessly, night after night.
