On January 26, 1998, event organizers for President Clinton's visit to the University of Illinois at Champaign had to come up with a new plan Following close on the heels of the State of the Union Address on Jan. 27, and a week of intense media coverage, Clinton's visit to the University on Jan. 28 would undoubtedly draw a much larger crowd than had originally been anticipated. This meant they needed additional video equipment--immediately. With just two day's notice, Rent Com provided large video projection systems and on-site technical support to accommodate the several thousand attendees in additional facilities around the campus.
